Top 5 Nail Polish Stores with Worldwide Shipping

Top 5 Nail Polish Stores – that ship worldwide !

“Tis the season to be jolly….’tis the season to shop yourself silly” J.  Don’t you just love the holidays?  I do!!  I love the huge discount sales going on all over the world – and I love the fact that I can be a part of them, geography not withstanding!

Online shopping! Yes, one of my all-time favourite activities!  Over the last 4 years I have built myself a formidable nail polish collection.  Most of my favourites have been purchased online from various international stores.   Now, there are a number of restrictions when it comes to buying nail polish online since there are country wise shipping restrictions.  Only a handful of websites actually ship worldwide and I would love to share my experience so far.

For the purpose of this post, I’m going to stick to multi-brand stores.  Most of the stores are small to medium outfits, run by ladies who are really passionate about what they do.  A lot of them make and sell their own nail polish colours along with other “indies”. “Indies” are polishes that are made by individuals and are either hand mixed. You will find a crazy mix of nail polish here, from glitters bombs to multichromes and holographics.

The first 3 on the list, focus more on “indies” and the other 2, on main-stream brands.

Llarowe

1. www.llarowe.com

This is a Denver based online store that mainly stocks “indies” and other hard to find brands.    What I love about this site is there is a set of swatches for almost all the colours.  This makes it so easy to pick what you want.

They also have a rewards programme that is wonderful if you are going to purchase regularly.

They accept PayPal and credit cards, though my card has never worked on the site and I have only used PayPal so far.

Shipping is chargeable and is based on weight.  You can also go in for a flat rate priority box that accommodates about 9 large 15ml bottles for approx. 24 USD.  It’s a good idea to combine orders with friends so you can get the flat rate box.  Being priority, this one even gets here faster.

I have placed about 5 orders with them.  One was misplaced and they graciously resent the entire order by charging only the difference between the earlier, ordinary postage and the new, priority postage – about $10.

Customer service is excellent!

ninja

2. www.ninjapolish.com

Another US based website that sells a lot of indie polishes along with some brand names polishes. Their own line called Ninja Polish, has some very creative colours.  My favourite are the floam series, a set of polishes with tiny matte dots of colour.

They accept only PayPal.  Shipping is again charged as per the size and weight of the order.  You can also purchase shipping insurance for a nominal charge when you are checking out.   I always prefer to add insurance to my order.

I have placed 3 orders with them and have had no problems so far.

mei

3. www.meimeisignatures.com

This is a Singapore based website selling Indies along with a few well-known brand names like China Glaze and OPI.   This site however, has more of an indie focus, and the China Glaze and OPI collections are limited and not necessarily current.  Along with nail polish there is a lot of other stuff like face masks etc.

They accept credit cards as well as PayPal.   Shipping is chargeable based on the size of the order, however since this is coming from Singapore, the costs are much lower.

I have placed only one order so far, and received it in record time – about a week.

nailvibe

4. www.nailvibe.com

A Singapore based site selling main-stream brands like China Glaze, OPI, Zoya, Orly etc.  The main reason for going here, is they have some of the latest launches and up to date collections.  I know that all the brands mentioned here also sell in India, but we seem to get only the collections that don’t sell out elsewhere.  This is where nailvibe comes into the picture.  I have been able to grab the new textured shades from this site as soon as they launched.

They accept PayPal only for orders over S$ 50.  Under this amount they want you to make a bank wire transfer.  I am personally not comfortable with bank wire transfer, so I ensured that my order value was over S$ 50.

Shipping is chargeable according to weight of the order.

I have placed only one order so far, received it in a week.   The customer service is exemplary.  Any questions posted are answered almost immediately in a couple of hours.

nailsupply

5. www.nailsupplies.us

This is a US based discount nail polish store that stocks a huge range of brands like Essie, Orly, Jessica, China Glaze, Barielleetc, all at ridiculously low rates.  Prices for China Glaze and Essie are in the range of $3 to $5.  They also stock full ranges including displays at a substantial discount.  This store caters to nail professionals and has entire ranges of Gel polishes and equipment such as UV lamps.

They accept credit cards.

Shipping is chargeable, and they only offer the priority flat rate box mentioned above.  An order larger than this will be charged more, depending on the mode of despatch chosen during checkout.

I have placed 3 or 4 orders from them and have always received everything in about 2-3 weeks. I personally love picking up unique stuff this way. I would love to hear your experiences as well as website finds.
