Top 10 Affordable Summer Monsoon Nail Polishes

Like me, a lot of you must be skipping makeup due to the heat and humidity in the weather. Unable to explore makeup, I am indulging in nail paints that thankfully still perk you up sans any discomfort. I list down Top 10 Affordable Summer Monsoon Nail Polishes for you to enjoy:

1. Lakme Colour Crush Nail Polish in 18: This is a very safe fuchsia that isn’t electric or neon. The finish is crème and the feel is feminine. It’s a beautiful colour and would suit all complexions. Priced at 160 INR.
2. L’Oreal Paris Le Vernis 204 Boudoir Rose: This is that nude pink which makes life worth living! It is a milky nude pink shade that just adds the right amount of colour and at the same time soothes your inner soul. Priced at 250 INR.
3. Revlon Nail Enamel in 456 Sassy: You can never pass a summer and a monsoon without a green nail paint on! Sassy is a cool grass green that has a very little bit of olive undertones making it perfectly balanced between being too bold and too subtle. Priced at 190 INR.
4. Revlon Nail Enamel in 404 Siren: Siren is a true orange with no red or yellow undertones. It is muted down, hence is work friendly and is a lovely colour to add to your stash. Priced at 190 INR.
5. Faces Splash Nail Enamel in Ballerina 201: This is such a beautiful shade that you will want to wear it all seasons. You can never grow old of such colours. It is a lovely peach shade that is warm and very feminine. It has slight amount of coral undertones thus it suits both cool and warm complexions. Safe for work, perfect for date! 😉 Priced at 110 INR.

1. Lakme True Wear Nail Polish in 504: I don’t have enough compliments for this beauty. When I discovered this shade in a local store I kept staring at the bottle thinking ‘Where have you been all my life?’ It is a beautiful strawberry- coral pink with a purple sheen and is the sweetest colour on the coral palette. I make do with a single layer and a top coat as upon layering twice the pink deepens to a bright coral pink hue which I don’t like very much. This is a must have I tell you! Priced at 100 INR.
2. Lotus Nail Polish in 948 Pure Plum: Pure Plum is a muted pink shade with plum undertones. It is the perfect polish for both work and party as it is a shade you cannot ignore nor can complain of being over the top. It is a universal shade for all complexions and age. Priced at 120 INR.
3. Elle 18 Nail Pops 89 Naomi Goes Green: Priced at 50 INR. A list of polishes is never complete without a single name from Elle 18. Until this day I had no idea that the formulated packaging now has names of polishes, which I personally prefer over just number ids. I don’t know if Elle 18 is talking about Naomi Watts here, but 89 surely is a lovely pistachio green that will look good on everyone. A darker version of this colour is green passion 46 by Street Wear Color Riche; which is greener and bolder. I happen to love both the shades though.
4. Elle 18 Nail Pops 69: It is the perfect red for the summer. It is orange based, bold, beautiful and would make your fingers look like petals of a Fire Wings flower. You can never go wrong with the classic, glossy red manicure. It reminds me so of the bygone retro Hollywood days. I just love the quality of Elle 18 polishes as it is non streaky, has perfect consistency and amazing shades. Priced at 50 INR.
5. Avon Nail Wear Pro+ Perfectly flesh: This is a pastel flesh-tint shade with milky orange undertones. This is a nude nail paint that is itself a unique colour and can be a fresh option over nude pinks or nude peaches. Priced at 149 INR.

These are my Top 10 Affordable Summer Monsoon Nail Polishes  and I have also created simple nail arts using few colours from these.
