theBalm as a brand makes some amazing products especially their blushes, highlighters, liquid lipsticks have made it to the top. I am reviewing a beautiful blush today called Cabana Boy.
Packaging – theBalm products come in cute and fancy packing. Most of them are in card board packaging and not metal cases which is a bummer. It comes with a mirror inside but no brush.
Shade – Cabana Boy is a very pretty plum shade that suits medium-dusky skin very well. It is universally flattering. You can also check out theBalm Fratboy Shadow Blush
Pigmentation – theBalm Shadow Blush Cabana Boy is highly pigmented. The below swatch is just a touch.
Texture & formula – theBalm Shadow Blush Cabana Boy has a very smooth texture which is one of their best selling points. It has a satiny texture and blends very quickly and settles amazingly well on the skin. It is not powdery.
It is not a matte blush and has a slight sheen in it, though not shimmery or gritty. This shade is a must have for Indians as it is quite unique. It is perfect for those evening parties and brides as well.
Staying Power – Cabana Boy stays put for 6+ hours which is highly impressive. It does not emphasize open pores or dry patches. It adds a beautiful glow to the skin.

Overall Thoughts:
The balm blushes are worth trying out, atleast one shade. They are full value for money and such amazing quality. I hope they bring out more shades. theBalm Shadow Blush Cabana Boy can be used as eyeshadows as well and stay really well when used over an eyeshadow primer. The Instains are quite famous and am interested to try those out too. If you love blushes, then this range will certainly interest you. Availability is the only issue.
