The Body Shop Hand Cream Trio Review – Grapefruit, Mango & Strawberry

The Body Shop Hand Cream Trio (LE Pack)The Body Shop Hand Cream Trio Review - Grapefruit, Mango & Strawberry (2)

Being blessed with dry hands, I keep number of hand creams around me – on bedside table, in hand bag , on dresser etc. I am always on a look out for nourishing rich hand creams that can soften my hands. So far nothing has come closer to Kama Ayurveda Hand Cream which is the most nourishing hand cream I have ever used.

I bought this trio during my Dubai trip. I have tried couple of The Body Shop hand creams in past and always had a love hate relationship with them. This trio was quite economical and these 30ml tubes are quite good for travelling.

The Body Shop Hand Cream Trio has – Mango, Strawberry & Grapefruit creams. I have used up Grapefruit & Mango one already and just started using Strawberry. The Body Shop Hand Cream Trio Review - Grapefruit, Mango & Strawberry (1)

Texture of these hand creams is very light and airy, almost whipped. Formula is non-sticky and gets absorbed into the skin immediately without leaving any greasiness or shine behind. However I don’t find them good enough for dry hands like mine that scream for loads of moisture during winters. No matter how many times I layered these none them were able to restore the moisture for a long time.

Also I didn’t like how the grapefruit hand cream smelled, nothing close to fruit’s actual scent. Mango & Strawberry have pleasant fragrances.

Overall Thoughts

The only variant of Hand Cream from The Body Shop that has worked for me is the Hemp Protector. Though the smell of it was off-putting. This trio is a good value if your hands aren’t very dry. Texture is very light and airy. Also the formula isn’t greasy or sticky. Size of each hand cream is perfect for travelling or carrying around in hand bag. I liked the packaging as well, perfect for gifting purposes.
