The Body Shop launched Golden Sparkler , that has a new jazzy look inspired from the  shimmering 1920s The Great Gatsby and set to glitter the winters. I love the packaging, the spray bottle with puffer has a beautiful vintage feel to it. I also like the motives designed on the glass bottle.

The Golden Sparkler is a finely milled powder with golden chunk shimmer. The shimmers are fine and don’t feel gritty on skin. You can use it in multiple ways, on face, body or hair. Perfect product for festivals & parties. It didn’t have a scent , at least I couldn’t smell anything.

You get a small amount of product with each spray, something I love, because nobody likes to transform into a disco ball. You can add more according to your preference. Shimmers disappear after a while, so its better to apply them right after moisturizing your body so that they have a sticky base to cling on to.

Other product that I tried recently is The Body Shop Color Crush Lipstick. This range has been around for almost a year now. With over 30 shades to choose from the color crush lipstick range has shades for everyone. I was looking for a good everyday lipstick so picked 335, which is a plum lipstick.

Honestly it didn’t look this plum when I swatched the tester, but the new product appears more plum than I would have preferred. Nevertheless I am enjoying the formula and texture, which is quite creamy and comfortable on the lips.

Packaging is also beautiful so is the pigmentation & formula. The lipstick is quite pigmented and covers lip discoloration in single stroke. It also stays on for good 4-5 hours. Formula is quite creamy & moisturizing that keeps lips supple throughout the wear.
