Sugarpill Love+ Eyeshadow Review Swatches Photos

I love to try eye shadow from different brands and that is how I came across this shade while reading reviews online. Sugarpill Love + is very different from regular Red and Pinks we get and that was the sole reason to pick this up. Sugar pill is famous for their intensely pigmented eye shadow. Their Purple is so famous and it is next in my wish list. But, before that here is a stunner shade from the brand and sadly it is limited edition shade.

Shade – SUGARPILL LOVE+ is described as Vampy Pearl Love+ with Silver metallic sheen. It is cool toned bright and vibrant shade Cherry Love+ shade with blue undertones to it. There is fine silvery teal shimmer in it but that is not visible on eyes no matter how softly I use it.

Texture – The texture is not really fine but is not hard to work. It may feel a little powdery to feel but it’s not.A shade like this should be avoided to use with a blending brush. Here I have used a MAC 239 Brush to apply this with soft patting motion. The silvery sheen may not be that visible on eyes but in pan it surely grabs the attention.

Pigmentation – It is gorgeously pigmented and is opaque in 2 swipes easily, plus it does stain the lids and you can see that in swatch below.

Staying power – The staying power with good primer is somewhere between 7 and hrs easily and there is fading or creasing as such.

Useful For – The shade is best suited to use all over lids or slightly in the crease. It may not be very versatile shade but a good change from regular pinks and browns.

Overall Thoughts

This may not be very versatile shade but if you are little experimental it is such a pretty shade. I would recommend you to grab if you can but chances are very less as it was limited edition shade. I picked mine from sugarpill site a year back but they have some amazing Love+ in permanent line too.
