I love applying eyeliners, whenever I have more than 5 minutes to get ready. A nice winged eyeliner changes the whole appearance, and sometimes when I am in for a little drama, then thickening it up helps. I love eyeliners with pen/ felt tip as they are easy to maneuver. I have been using Sugar Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner in Black Swan for almost 7-8 months now and when I was about to throw it away, thought of sharing my experience with you all.

Packaging is simple black tube with a pen style wand. It has sugar monogrammed on it. The applicator has a long handle which makes it quite user friendly.

The liquid eyeliner is quite black, which is what I love about it the most. Most of the times I apply black eyeliner and the darker the better. One stroke delivers neat opaque line and you don’t really have to go over it to get intense dark black.

Formula is runny but it doesn’t feathers out which is another good thing. It sets in couple of seconds and stays put for a long time. The formula is waterproof and stays put for almost 6+ hours. Since the Liquid liner is waterproof it starts peeling off from the outer corner after 5-6 hours or if I touch my eyes by mistake. Sugar Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner starts looking patchy and you can see gaps/ skin peeking through which is annoying.

Formula is smudgeproof and doesn’t move to the upper lid. Using it eazy breezy and thats why I have used it up completely. Applicator is always saturated with liquid and you wouldn’t have to dip it back again and again to finish the process.

I have used Sugar Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner in number of videos and since it works pretty well on shimmer/ glitter eye shadows I always reach out for it.

Overall Thoughts

I am quite impressed with the formula and how easy Sugar Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner Black Swan is to apply. It doesn’t smudge and stays put for a long time. Only downside is the peeling off part, where the eyeliner starts disappearing from inner & outer corners of the eyes after couple of hours.
