Suganda Sea Buckthorn Face Cream & Avocado Jojoba Cream Review

My love for nourishing creams is eternal. I always look out for rich formulas that aren’t greasy or sticky. Also I try to include natural products in my routine as much as possible. I recently came across a skincare brand – Suganda which is an natural – free from parebens, petrolatum and SLS. I got a chance to try out two products – Suganda Sea Buckthorn Face Cream & Avocado Jojoba Cream. I have been using these two for some time now and thought of reviewing them today –Suganda Sea Buckthorn Face Cream & Avocado Jojoba Cream Review

Sea Buckthorn Face Cream (Rs 1200 for 50 gm)

Seabuckthorn berry (with its elusive Omega 7) and rosehip seed are supercharged with antioxidants that strengthen and repair the skin’s cellular structure at a deeper level whilst fending off free radicals and environmental stress. Pure Rose Absolute is nourishing and hydrating, clearing blemishes and is incredibly beneficial for dry, mature and sensitive skin. It refines skin texture, while its perfume relieves anxiety and fights depression. Licorice extract may help diminish the appearance of discolouration and age spots. Curcumin Extract which is a powerful antioxidant and lightens skin tone while helping with sundamage

Honestly I was a little apprehensive before using this cream because of its rich texture thinking it might break me out. However after using for almost 2 weeks now I can say that it is not only the most suitable night cream for my dry skin and has kept it soft & supple during the day as well. I would love to use it during the day when the weather gets colder but since it is already pretty hot in the northern part of India ,I have restricted its use for the night time only.

The cream is pale in color and has a light herbal-y scent to it which isn’t overbearing. I take a pea size amount and gently massage it over face & neck and let it sink. It does look shiny initially but after few minutes you can see it sinking into the skin. I like to apply it well before the bed time so that it could completely absorb into the skin by the time I hit the bed.

The formula of Suganda Sea Buckthorn Face Cream hasn’t broken me out or caused any skin irritation. It is definitely moisturising and good for dry sensitive skin. I have uneven skin tone but it seems it needs more time to even out my skin tone. I will continue using it to see if it works.
Suganda Sea Buckthorn Face Cream & Avocado Jojoba Cream Review

Suganda Avocado Jojoba Cream (Rs 799) – A light cocoa smelling cream that is fully packed with natural nourishing plant oils and butters, extracts and nutrients that soften dry skin. Avocado oil  and softens the skin nourishes with nutrients. Evening primrose oil– deeply penetrates and improves elasticity and reduces signs of ageing, and boosts cell regeneration. Jojoba Oil helps winter itch and chapped skin since it has anti-inflammatory properties to reduce dryness and irritation. Cocoa Butter is protectant to the skin and high in Vit E and antioxidants called polyphenols that are nourishing. Vit E – antioxidant that protects skin from free radical damage.

Now this is a great everyday cream for face since it has a non-greasy light texture & formula. It doesn’t leave a shine on the face and makes it semi matte but soft & supple. However on body it doesn’t work as good atleast not for me. It made me apply it over and over again to combat dryness. So I think Suganda Avocado Jojoba Cream can be used as a daily face moisturiser for all skin types and on body by people with normal/combinatin skin.
