Studiowest Goldmine (03) Eyeshadow Palette Review

Studiowest Goldmine palette broke during transit, thankfully two shades were intact and 3rd one was still there, at least some part of it 🙂

Westside has launched their own makeup line couple of days ago. The line is divided into two ranges – Maaya & Pure Passion. I was dying to get my hands on their products, but unfortunately its not available everywhere, not it delhi yet. I asked one of my friends in mumbai to send couple of products.

Shade – Studiowest Goldmine is a beautiful palette with beautiful selection of colors like – Burgundy, gold & broze/brown. It was a love at first sight for me. This palette is a must have if you are planning to get products from this range !

Texture & Formula – Can I say its a brilliant palette ? Texture of all the three eyeshadows is creamy ! Application & blending is super easy. I didn’t expect this kind of buttery texture from this palette, since drugstore brands don’t always offer smooth formulas. These shades are perfect for upcoming festival season. I didn’t observe much fall out during application, however I always prefer doing my eye makeup first and foundation later. The shimmer present in the formula is very fine, and once blended it leaves a beautiful sheen !

Pigmentation – I am sure you can guess from the above swatches. This is the result of only one swirl in the pan ! These eyeshadows look true to their color in the pan whether you apply them with out without primer

Staying Power – Studiowest Goldmine eyeshadows stay on me for good 5+ hours without primer , with a good base their longevity increases by 2+ hours.

I have used this palette in one of my videos which should be up early next week ! You can see how these colors look on my complexion. and I haven’t used any primer underneath !

Overall Thoughts

Now I want more eyeshadows from Studiowest makeup range and can’t wait for them to launch here in Delhi. Studiowest Goldmine Eyeshadow Palette is highly recommended if you are looking for a palette which would be perfect for festival/ wedding season !
