Street Wear Color Rich Foundation (Rs 170 for 30 ml) can be purchased from Revlon counters across India. This is a new launch and this range has wide variety of nail paints as well as lip colors available. This foundation has 3 shades.
Shade- Out of the 3 shades available, I bought Street Wear Color Rich Foundation Beige for myself as it has yellow undertones. Out of the rest 2, one has pink undertones and one was dark for me. The shades, Beige is also slightly dark (orange) on me and my face looks tanned but a compact over it minimises the orange effect.
Packaging- I Iike the girly packaging having an elongated cylindrical glass packaging with a black cap and a colourful girl figure. However, it isn’t travel friendly as the foundation has no pump or dispenser, it has to be poured onto the hands which make the bottle very messy and it spills around. Also, the glass packaging is prone to breakage.Texture & Formula– Street Wear Color Rich Foundation has slightly runny consistency however it is easy to apply and blends perfectly. It provides semi-matte finish leaning more towards dewy side but it doesn’t look oily to greasy and those having combination skin can apply a compact over it to reduce the dewy effect. The foundation is hydrating and great for dry skin. It doesn’t clog pores neither it broke me out. It is light weight and comfortable and sets nicely. It is easy to apply and can be applied with fingers as well as a sponge or brush. One thing I have noticed it that this foundation transfers easily onto other objects in humid climate. It does oxidise a bit after 4-5 hours on me.
Coverage/Pigmentation- The foundation provides light to buildable medium coverage. It’s not sheer. One layer covers light pigmentation, unevenness and redness. A second layer gives a more polished look to the face and little blemishes can also be covered. However, major skin issues need concealing. Street Wear Color Rich Foundation doesn’t look cakey or streaky.Staying Power- I have worn Street Wear Color Rich Foundation for a span of about 6-7 hours and it looked fresh with no fading however, it did oxidise a bit after 4-5 hours and my T-zone got oily.
Overall Thoughts
Personally, I am not very much impressed by Street Wear Color Rich Foundation as the shade is orange on me and it oxidises after few hours. However, I do like the finish and coverage. It is great for everyday wear and priced very reasonably. Had I got my perfect shade, I would have loved it.
Rating- 2.75/5
