I bought Stila Masterpiece Series Eye & Cheek series from Sephora. It has 3 palettes. All the palettes have different names and colors. Each palette comes with 5 eyeshadows and a blush. Packaging is simple magnetic cardboard packaging. Its small and light weight, good for travelling etc. I have decided to review one palette at a time.

Stila Masterpiece Series is economical because you get 3 different palettes (each with 5 eyeshadows and a blush). The palette I am reviewing is called “The Minimalist” . It has all neutral eyeshadows and a soft peachy pink powder blush.

Shades – Stila Masterpiece Series Eye & Cheek The Minimalist palette has 5 eyeshadows (clockwise) natural light, simplicity, elegance, subtlety, balance and Blush named as “harmony”. I really like this palette because all the shades are perfect to create a minimalist day time look or dark shades in the palette can intensity and transform any look into a perfect nigh time look. This palette has universally flattering shades except the blush, its too subtle and wouldn’t show up on deeper skintones with layering.

Texture & Formula – Eyeshadows in Stila Masterpiece Series Eye & Cheek The Minimalist palette are soft and creamy. 4 shades are shimmery and one matte. Matte one is bit dry but not tough to work with. Its perfect to add depth to any eye makeup. Natural Light is a very pretty and subtle highlighting shade, however during the day I don’t use shimmery highlighters but for nights its perfect. All the eyeshadows are easy to apply and blend. I can see some fall outs while applying eyeshadows and Blush is slightly powdery.

Pigmentation – All the eyeshadows except “Balance” are very pigmented and creamy. Balance is slightly dry and has average pigmentation. I find blush bit powdery but on cheeks it looks very pretty and formula is easy to blend. On my NC 42 skintone it shows up well but would need layering on deeper complexions.

Staying Power – I can see these eyeshadow on me for good 5+ hours without creasing. Blush also stays on for 4-5 hours and fades away without turning patchy.

I have created a look below using “Stila Masterpiece Series Eye & Cheek The Minimalist palette”. You can see how beautiful eyeshadows look and this is a perfect palette for most of the occasions.

Overall Thoughts

I really like Stila Masterpiece Series Eye & Cheek The Minimalist palette. Its perfect for travelling. All the shades are perfect to create simple day time to night time smokey eye makeup. Blush works very well with the looks. Only downside is the slight powdery texture of the blush.
