Stila Color Balm Lipsticks are available in 17 shades, however I could see only 5 shades at Sephora.

Packaging – Stila Color Balm Lipstick looks luxurious with a sturdy and heavy case.

Shade – Evangeline is described as a Dusty Rose color. This shade works as a perfect “My Lips But Better” shade for me. It can work as a perfect nude lipstick for deeper complexions. On me it appears more pink.Stila Color Balm Lipstick Evangeline (3)Texture & Formula – Stila Color Balm Lipstick have a very creamy texture. Formula is quite thick but glides on smoothly. I was expecting it to be sheer since “Balm” word is attached to it but was pretty surprised to see how amazingly pigmented this shade was. Formula feel moisturizing on my dry lips and I generally skip wearing a lip balm underneath. When applied It gives minty cool/ tingling sensation which feels so good, and the scent is minty too.Stila Color Balm Lipstick Evangeline (5)Pigmentation – Stila Color Balm Lipstick Evangeline is superbly pigmented and one swipe is all I need to cover my lips. It covers lip pigmentation/ discoloration very well. Due to blunt tip that is pretty broad, I would recommend using a lip liner for precise application (for thinner lips).

Staying Power – It stays on me for 4+ hours. The formula which is very creamy in the beginning settles for a semi matte finish after sometime and survives mild snacking. However it does make lips slightly dry while wearing off.

The only downside would be availability since these Stila Color Balm Lipstick can only be purchased from sephora or online.

Overall Thoughts

I really loved the formula and finish of Stila Color Balm Lipstick Evangeline. Its a beautiful shade which will look good on medium to deeper complexions. Formula is creamy and superbly pigmented. I will definitely check out more shades from this range.
