I have dry skin and I cannot think of surviving winters without a heavy body butter ! I have always used The Body Shop Cocoa Body Butter, it used to last me for 6 months due to its thick and heavy texture. This time I skipped it as was pretty happy and content with Jergens Body Lotion. I have been using ”The Righteous Butter’ by Soap & Glory for past few weeks.

As i have shared earlier, my Soap & Glory Soaper Hero combo had couple of best sellers from S&G. I got a chance to try ‘The Righteous Butter’ body butter from that kit only.

My Experience

The texture of the body butter is thick but not as thick as TBS body butters, its easier to work with. Takes some seconds to sink into the skin. Formula is defiantly hydrating and keeps my skin hydrated for 7+ hours.

The fragrance is Original Pink fragrance which I adore!! It lingers on for hours. 

As you can see that once it blended, there is no shiny or greasy residue on the skin. It hydrates without leaving sticky or slippery feeling behind.

The formula is hydrating but very dry ares like ankles and knees becomes dry again after 4-5 hours, so I assume people with very dry skin would need reapplication after 4+ hours.

Negatives would be availability and price. It can only be purchased online or at Sephora, there its available for almost double price.

Overall thoughts

A Hydrating body butter with amazing girly fragrance. Girls with oily-normal to dry skin would love it, however, girls with very dry parched skin would need reapplication after 3-4 hours. If you don’t like greasy body butters this can be a great option.
