Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm Review

Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm ($10 for 18 gm) from ebay.comSoap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm Review (1)Creative and fun packaging is always such a draw. When you add an even better product then you have an absolute winner.  That is the case for this amazing Lip moisture balm.

The little pot of peach lip moisture balm looks so pretty, I had a tough time swatching it, and messing the perfection.  Glad I finally started using it.Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm Review (3)Texture – I know that lip moisture balms are expected to be super hydrating and moisturizing but I cannot emphasize how much moisture these babies impart to your lips.  The feel is super soft, smooth, not at all sticky or tacky and give your lips and immediate boost of moisture.

Normally when I use a lip balm, a couple of hours later I need to reapply since I have a bad habit of licking my lips.  Not so in this case, the smooth texture lasts and lasts.

Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm also sinks in giving a comfortable feel.  I hate how Vaseline just sits on your lips and doesn’t really do much to hydrate, it just creates a barrier.  In the case of A Great Kisser, there is clearly some healing, soothing and moisturizing happening.  There is also a nice smooth layer created.

Shade – In the tin it looks a vibrant peach shade, and on my hand swatch also there is a lot of colour.  Unfortunately non of that translates on my lips.  There resultant colour on my lips is actually a couple of shades lighter than my original lip colour , making my face look very washed out.   The only negative to this balm that I can see.Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm Review (2)Fragrance – A Great Kisser comes in 3 flavors, the one I got is Peach but I cant help but think about Peach ice tea each time I use it – I can almost smell the fizz.

Lasting Power – The hydration stays good for over 6 hours – I don’t need to reapply this often.  I also find that it does such a great job when you use it once that your lips are hydrated even after its all gone.  I see this little tin lasting me quite a while.

Overall Thoughts

I really love Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm, just wish it was more easily available.  Thought it is great, it is a little on the pricier side.   You can get a lot of other nice lip balms for the price of this one.  If you are prone to losing tubes of balm, you may want to stay away.

Will I repurchase?  Maybe.  It really works well on the moisturizing and my lips are quite dry.

    Sounds nice!
Expensive though…I am liking maybelline’s baby lips which is quite a moisturising lip balm 🙂

It is on the pricy side, but it’s huge, gonna last me for a long long time. Maybelline is nice too, but I find this far more hydrating
