A pimple is one last thing we would want to see on our face. The bumpy eruption on the face is like a nightmare to us. When there are signs of a pimple erupting, we begin using every possible topical treatment on the troubled area. It is always better to prevent acnes and pimples from occurring. Wash – Washing keeps skin clean. All the sweat, oil and dirt needs to be removed without fail. It is important to include a good skin cleanser in the routine that will clean the pores without making the skin dry. Use Face Wash for acne prone skin only.

This helps balance the skin’s natural oil production which help reduce breakouts.

Massaging – Massaging improves blood circulation and is the best suggested treatment to help improve skin appearance. It is a safe, drug-free form of treatment for pimples. Make sure, you massage after thoroughly washing face with a cleanser, else you are likely to press in all the dirt, oil and sweat into the skin.

Use appropriate makeup – If you are a makeup lover, then choose makeup such that it is less harsh without added dyes and chemicals. Know what you are applying on your skin and make sure to check the ingredients list of the cosmetics you buy. Look for label that is labelled “non comedogenic”, which means it does not clog pores.

Drink water – Water helps to keep body and skin well hydrated. Apart from the hydration part, it flushes out toxins and impurities resulting in healthy looking skin.

Food – What goes in orally reflects in your skin. Intake of zits causing food should be avoided. Increase skin friendly food in your diet. Exercising along with proper diet shows great effects on the skin.

Relax – Experts have linked stress and strain with the occurrence of pimples. Anxiety and stress causes unnecessary hormonal changes which can cause pimples to suddenly pop up. So, practice deep breathing exercises and yoga, and stay calm and relax.
