SkinCafe Lemon Meringue Pie Lip Scrub (Rs 950)

I love a good lip scrub, since my lips are constant dry and chapped. No matter how much lip balm I apply they still remain dry. I loved the name of this lip scrub and by looking at the ingredients I knew it would taste good too 😉 Caster Sugar, Shea Butter, Lemon Essential Oil. It has USDA Certified Organic Lemon Essential Oil as a key ingredient.

The scrub is dry powder like, but it sticks together due to the presence of lemon oil. The sugar particles are fine and work amazingly and don’t feel scratchy on the lips. I take half a pea size amount and rub it on slightly wet lips, scrubbing in circular motions helps get rid of dry flaky skin and makes them smoother and softer. I use it atleast twice a week and love it completely.

SkinCafe Ginger Watermelon Sorbet Lip Butter (Rs 950)

I love watermelon and the combo sounded just perfect. However I don’t find the scent pleasing! and don’t reach out for it due to the same reason. Though it does a good job at keeping lips soft and smooth. It looks slightly tinted in the jar but on lips it comes across as a clear lip balm. It is made of Beeswax, Shea Butter, Watermelon Seed Oil, Lime & Ginger Essential Oils.

SkinCafe Apple Cranberry Pie Lip Tint Balm (Rs 900)

I really enjoy this lip tint balm, it has a hint of color which makes it perfect for everyday. Only issue I have with all these lip balms is the jar packaging which is quite smell and you can’t dig out product without getting some under your nails. I scoop out some and it instantly melts when comes in contact of body heat. I like the slight tint and it has a faint scent and doesn’t taste like anything.

SkinCafe Lip Butter, Lip Scrub, Lip Tint Balm (Rs 900-950)

All the lip products from SkinCafe are supposed to be used within 6 months of manufacturing. I find the prices bit too steep for a lip balm or lip scrub however if you are quite picky & choosy about the ingredients that go into a product then do give this brand a shot. You can buy them online
