Simple & Quick Day Time Makeup Ft Givenchy Beauty

Last week I got a chance to meet Ajoy Sengupta – National Makeup Artist & Trainer Givenchy. I was elated and had so many questions to ask him related to makeup application. I met him at Givenchy counter at Sephora Gurgaon for a quick day time makeup look. I personally love simple makeup for the day and loved the makeover he gave me.

I have dry – combination skin, which means I get shiny on my T-zone but skin remains dry on rest of the face. He started with moisturizing my face and neck using – Givenchy Hydra Sparkle .

Then we moved on to the base makeup. I have some darkness around my mouth, under eyes and forehead, which isn’t much visible when I don’t have any makeup however after applying foundation those area start looking dull and ashy. To address those issues Ajoy started off with Givenchy Acti’Mine Makeup Base spf 15 in Mango, which had a distinct orange tones. He applied it all over my face with the help of a brush and blended it in.

Next came the star of the show – Givenchy Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation, my shade was Ginger #7. I can’t tell you how beautiful the texture of the foundation is. Its light weight and provided medium to buildable coverage. It also has SPF 20, which means additional sun protection. Texture was non greasy and in no time it was set with a beautiful satiny finish. I was quite surprised by the fact that Givenchy has covered almost all the skintones since the foundation is available in number of shades. Its not too yellow or pink, matched my undertones perfectly.Givenchy Le Prisme Libre Loose Powder Sweet caramel (1)

Since I get shiny on my T-zone, he dusted tiniest bit of Givenchy Le Prisme Libre Loose Powder. The powder has 4 different shades in one tub, mine was in shade Sweet Caramel and it had peach toned powder, which did some sort of color correction. I really liked the product and the fact that the quantity is huge and will last you ages!

Next was Bronzer, for which he applied Givenchy Fashionista Brown #26. It gave a soft contoured look to face and brought some color back, adding dimensions. I really liked the softness of the bronzer and subtle shimmers in the formula add a nice healthy glow to the face. After that Givenchy Le Prisme Blush 25 in Vogue Orange was applied on the cheeks. Givenchy Fashionista Brown #26 & Vogue Orange #25

For eyes, he did a simple soft & smudged look. Started with Givenchy Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil in #6 Wine close to the lashline, smudging it later with a brush. After that he applied a black kohl liner along the lash line to smoke out the look. He applied it sparingly so that black doesn’t overpower the whole look. He also applied #7 Copper on the waterline to make eyes appear bigger.

Finishing off the eye makeup with Givenchy Phenomen’eyes Mascara Black. Givenchy Phenomen'eyes Mascara Black

For lips he lined them with Givenchy Lip Liner Pencil #4 Coral and filled them in with La Rouge Lipstick #105 (Brun Vintage). Givenchy Beauty Le Rouge Lipstick - Brun Vintage 105

He added Givency Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner – Blue, which changed the whole look and added freshness & pop of color !. I totally loved the color !
