Sigma Lip Base Indulgent Review Swatches Photos

Sigma Lip Base is a multi purpose product, that can be used as a lip liner as well as an overall lip color. It comes in the form of wooden pencil which needs sharpening.

The Lip Base was created to line the lips with its point and can also be used to fill in the whole lip using its edge. It can be worn alone as a matte long-wearing lip product or under another product as a base. Its function as a base will amplify the color on top of it and add a more solid, uniform color base to your overall lip look.

Shade – Sigma Lip Base is available in 7 shades. I have Indulgent to review today, which is a pink based nude shade, perfect neutral for fair to medium complexions. However it washes me out, therefore I use a darker lip liner to make it work for me.

Texture & Formula – Sigma Lip Base has a soft creamy texture that glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling. Formula feels comfortable and quite moisturizing on lips. It gives a semi matte finish which doesn’t look chalky or crusty. Color doesn’t settle in fine lines nor does it move out or feather. Its quite convenient if you apply makeup on the go.

Pigmentation – Indulgent evens out lip color , concealing dark/pigmented lips. I also use it as a base for sheer lip colors or glosses. This is how the color looks on me with Maybelline Plum lip liner.

Staying Power – On my dry lips, without a lip balm the color stayed on for good 4+ hours with some fading after meal.

Overall Thoughts

If you are looking for a purpose that can do the job of both lip liner and lipstick , then Sigma Lip Base are perfect. There are 7 shades to choose from and Indulgent will be a perfect neutral shade for fair to medium skintones. Staying power is decent and so is the pigmentation.
