I have heard a lot about cleansing oils and wanted to try one, though I am pretty happy with The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Butter but Beauty blogger in me doesn’t want to commit to one product. Also I wanted to buy skincare products from Sephora Brand purely because they are free of  Parabens,  Sulfates, Synthetic Dyes,  Phthalates,  GMOs,  Triclosan. So last month I decided to try couple of Sephora brand products and Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil is one of them. Bottle is of green color and Cleansing oil is a clear liquid.

Remove every trace of even the most resistant makeup with this soap-free formula. There’s no need for cotton pads—simply pump into the hands and rub onto dry skin. Add water to change the oil into smooth lotion. Effective yet gentle, this cleansing oil is suitable for sensitive skin and leaves the face soft and perfectly cleansed, without an oily film. 

I have acne prone skin so I get quite scared while trying any oil based product. Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil suits all skin types and is dermatologically and ophthalmogically tested. I have been using it for over 3 weeks now and it hasn’t broken me out whatsoever. Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil doesn’t irritates eyes and removes all traces of waterproof and long wearing makeup within seconds. It has a faint scent which isn’t bothersome

Below I have swatches some long staying eye liners/ mascaras with a staining lip product.

How I use it –

I take 2-3 pumps of Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil on my palms and gently massage my face with it. It quickly stars dissolving and breaking down makeup. I like it specially because it removes all traces of mascara and kohl without stinging my eyes. Once my makeup is all dissolved I take some lukewarm water and gently massage my face that immediately turns Cleansing oil into milky lotion. In the end I was my face with lukewarm water and then with a facial cleanser.

It works almost like Cleansing Balm, application & process is same. its just that pump bottle is more convenient to use.

Overall Thoughts

I am reaching out to Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil these days a lot, almost all the time when I wear makeup. It makes makeup removal swift and quick. One doesn’t need more than 2-3 pumps so this one bottle will last atleast 2 months, even if used regularly. Only downside is the presence of mineral oil in the ingredients list.
