Lip stains are a rage these days. Every brand is coming up with their own line of Liquid lip colors. I bought Sephora Cream Lip Stain 04 when Sephora launched in India. I loved the formula and finish however the shades that went out of stock were never restocked or if they were stocked, quantity was limited. The shelves were always empty. though one fine day I saw them back in stock , though only 2 of the shades. I picked Sephora Strawberry Kissed Cream Lip Stain because it caught my attention almost immediately.
Shade – Sephora Strawberry Kissed Cream Lip Stain is a pink based red which is quite bright. I loved it for its brightness , and this was quite a unique shade for me. I am quite a few reds but nothing comes closer to this one.

Texture & Formula – Texture of these lip stain is creamy and applies evenly. I always line my lips with a red lip liner to have cleaner edges, because getting a sharp outline with liquid lipstick is next to impossible task. Formula sets in couple of seconds allowing you an even application. Also even after couple of hours it doesn’t get crumbly or patchy, even when you press your lips together.Being a liquid lip stain it does highlights lip lines but doesn’t settles into cracks & patches.
Pigmentation – Strawberry Kissed is quite pigmented but not as pigmented as 04 maybe because of the color. I need a bit of layering but it covers lip discoloration evenly.

Staying Power – Sephora Strawberry Kissed Cream Lip Stain stays on for good 7+ hours and survives meals. Even after a lot of eating and drinking it doesn’t fade completely, neither it turns patchy. I was so impressed and would love to stock up more shades, if they ever launch them in India. Its not completely transfer proof and if you touch your lips, a powder like transfer can be seen on the finger tips.
Overall Thoughts
A must have for liquid lipstick lovers. Sephora Strawberry Kissed Cream Lip Stain is a beautiful bright shade which brightens up the complexion and compliments my skintone. Staying power and pigmentation is superb.
