This high-coverage lip product features avocado oil for a texture that transforms as you wear it: when applied, the initial cream texture becomes a silky, lightweight stain. Lips achieve stunning color and feel soft and comfortable.

I stay away from long wearing lipsticks and stains only because they make my dry lips flaky. Sephora Cream Lip Stains were always on my wishlist but picking them was a bit tricky since I was not able to make up my mind whether I should pick or leave them. Also the shade I wanted 04, was always out of stock. But during one of my recent visits to Sephora Gurgaon I saw it in stock and picked it.

Shade – Sephora Cream Lip Stain 04 is a matte mauve-plum shade. Its dark and perfect for upcoming weather/ fall. I am sure this color would look absolutely amazing on medium/deeper skintones. Due to its matte formula , this color can be worn to work as well. This product is available in 10 shades. Texture & Formula – Sephora Cream lip stain comes in a tube with a wand. Formula is super creamy and has the right consistency. Its matte and very moisturizing. When you apply it first it feels like any other creamy lipstick only after 2-3 hours of wear your lips would start feeling dry. Like any other liquid long staying lip color it accentuated fine lines on lips. I have worn it almost 5 times now and pretty pleased with the performance.

Pigmentation – This lip stain is super pigmented. One swipe is enough to cover lips. Staying Power – Sephora Cream Lip Stain stays on for good 4-5 hours without fading or transferring.  After meals of drinks the formula starts flaking from the middle of lips. On my lips it doesn’t leave any stain. For me 5 hours without touch up is impressive.  Also for removal you would need a good makeup remover. I use Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil.

Overall Thoughts

Sephora Cream Lip Stain has everything that you expect from a long wearing lip color. There are 10 shades to choose from. I love the matte texture & impressive staying power. If your lips are flaky , make sure to exfoliate them before applying it.
