Say hello to my “Feb Vellvette Box”

Thousands of brands/ boxes have come and disappeared leaving a bitter aftertaste in the mouths of their customers.

I have been subscribed to vellvette box since october 2012. Initially i admired their super fast customer service + how well they kept me informed about my box’s dispatch and delivery. When few months passed by, with the increase in customer base their customer service started to suck!

I always hated when the box used to reach at the end of each month but got accustomed to it. It was last month when the box reached me with a surprise, I had already paid for 3 months subscription in Jan and the delivery boy was asking me to pay 1200 Rs again, I had to send it back and wrote a mail to the customer service same day (26th Feb).

Next day (27th Feb) I received a mail from them saying that there was a goof up at their end and they will get the box redelivered soon !

There was no sign of the box till 7th March , I wrote back to them expressing my disappointment ! Again I didn’t hear from them and wrote back on 10th March asking them to refund my money !

No response again!!

On 10th March they replied back saying the package was lost during transition and thus could not get delivered ! Whoa! They asked me whether i want refund or box. I asked them to resend the box..

I didn’t hear from them til 18th March neither my box was delivered. I wrote another mail + I had to go to their FB page and write a stern and harsh message on their wall asking them to refund the money and how pathetic their customer serice is. After so many efforts their executive replied back saying “we ran out of stock for one of the products originally allocated to you and hence we couldn’t ship it out last week.” OMG

It was none of my business also had they informed me earlier/ in advance I wouldn’t have written or bothered so much ! This shows how pathetic their customer service is and how carelessly or poorly they treat their existing customers !

I am not at all interested or excited to see what’s in the box .. I am surely not renewing my subscription with them !

Hello Vellvette Box before asking new customers to join you at least learn to treat existing customers well. Its mandatory rule to survive service industry !

      I HATE velvette…i never understood what the hype was about…they send repeated brands and their samples were not at all exciting this month…….The customer care person Harleen was so rude to me when I asked where my profile questionnaire was…she replied that she has sent it whereas i checked all my accounts -inbox nd junk daily….when i repeatedly asked her…then only they sent me again…atleast they could not lie in the beginning and admit that they haven’t sent it.

    I completely agree to you shalini.. they didn’t gave me a chance to experience and im thankful to god he saved me coz if this is scenario of their service its better i m far!!!
    By reading so many reviews from each & every blogger i decided to subscribe for feb.. they didn’t gave me questioner i was confused on what basis they’l be sending me the product. i had no clue so mail corallista to ask what is their procedure, she didn’t replied so mailed niesha (Indian beauty forever) she guided me about them. still there was no response from their end. mailed them twice and they forwarded me the questioner, but the box has not yet arrived!!!
    sorry for that long but couldn’t help!! 🙁

    I totally sympathise with you Shalini. I have been trying to address a problem with them (non delivery) for three weeks now. They promise to revert, are evasive, then claim their courier had delivered but I had refused to accept the package (!!!!), then said they had despatched a fresh box which was another lie as the airway bill number they provided was of the earlier despatch. The worst is that they have now put the courier onto us and he has started harrassing us about why we refused the package – we got about 8 calls from them this evening when no package reached our residence. In short I did not receive anything in Feb altho I have paid for three months which ends March

    Vellvette’s customer support and operations seem to be something one needs to be wary of. I would advise people to think twice before going for a subscription.
    I paid for a 6 month subscription a few days back. I made a bank transfer payment (instant transfer ICICI to ICICI) on 25th March morning, and the order status still shows payment pending. Sent a mail to their customer support, but for days now there is no response. I haven’t seen that with any of the many online shopping sites I have used. Customer support mails are replied to on the same day in most cases. Not so with these guys.

    I called them again yesterday, and all I get after I tell them my ticket id and order number is a curt “I will call you back” and disconnect. And guess what – no call yet. This is really appalling customer support.

    If this issue is not addressed I dont think I would like to continue subscribing to Vellvette box or recommend it to anybody. I am hoping I get the 2099 INR that has already gone out of my account back if they cannot fulfill my order. But at this point it looks like they have just taken the money and dont have any intention of fulfilling the order. Wondering what to do about this obvious case of cheating.

    Vellvete box has such a bad service. And they are now giving cheap sachets. No pt in continuing. I have nt received my MAr box yet…shame.
