Sally Hansen Vanity Flare Triple Shine Nail Polish Review

Sally Hansen Triple Shine is 5-Free (Formaldehyde, Toluene, DPB, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor). I like Sally Hansen nail paints in general because of their great staying power and smooth formula. Sally Hansen Vanity Flare Triple Shine Nail Polish is a creme finish, grape color. I really like such colors for the current weather.

The formula is thick but applies smoothly. Its quite pigmented hence you wouldn’t need more than 2 quotes to get an opaque finish. I have worn it without base or top coat and the color stayed on my nails for good 4 days with some fading around the edges after 2 days. I didn’t observe chipping etc even after 4 days. A good top coat will ensure longer staying power. Also I tend to wash my hands numerous times, even then the finish stayed slightly creamy and color stayed true.

This is how the color looks on my nails after 4 days, without a top coat.Sally Hansen Vanity Flare Triple Shine Nail Polish Review

Only downside is the drying time, it takes more than 15 minutes to dry completely, with 2 coats. I don’t have patience to sit and wait till my nail polish dries, and with a toddler running around, you don’t get that luxury. I made a dent in my thumb nail even after 15+ minutes. So I don’t apply more than 2 coats otherwise it might take up more time to dry up completely.

I like the brush, its thick and covers nail evenly in one stroke. The finish is always streak free, which is commendable considering how thick the formula is.

Overall Thoughts

I like Sally Hansen Vanity Flare Triple Shine for the color, finish & staying power. However due to high drying time its not the one I reach out for. The color stays shiny even after 4 days of wear, that too without any top coat which is impressive in my opinion. I haven’t seen this range online yet, Sally Hansen is available at Parcos in Delhi.
