I love collecting perfumes though I don’t call myself a hoarder. I have a few selected ones in my stash since I am very picky when i comes to fragrances. My favourite kinds are either fresh, citrusy, clean or musky, wooden. For day time I love to smell fresh and for the evening musky fragrances are my choice. I have been wearing Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Azzuro for more than 3 months now and thought of sharing my thoughts on it.
The bottle itself is gorgeous ! Azure, looks like blue sea.. with a diamond shaped cap. It screams luxury ! I have Roberto Cavalli Paradiso perfume as well and it looks more or less similar to it, except for the blue color.
Paradiso Azzurro is a sparkling celebration of the beauty of the Mediterranean coast. A mix of soft and delicate dewy floral notes, with intense aromatic hints of a crisp and embracing sea breeze. The initial accord evokes a subtle Mediterranean breeze: a touch of citrus with a zesty note of bergamot blends with the top notes of lavender.
This breeze softly blends with the aroma of the jasmine petals. The captivating floral middle note creates the most sublime almost carnal balance between the jasmine and the fragile innocence of its dew covered petals. The intense woody base notes of cypress and musky cashmeran create a warm and embracing aroma with a hypnotic and lingering perfume.
I find the scent fresh & floral, perfect for a beach holiday ! I like it more than the original scent, it feels more refreshing and soft. Also the floral note are not dominant. Also the presence of musky notes make it perfect for me.
It Stays on for good 7+ hours on me, fading gradually. I will highly recommend it to those who are looking for a fresh daytime fragrance which isn’t heavy or headache inducing. Also the bottle of Paradiso Azzuro looks so luxurious, the blue & gold combination is so soothing, that I am going to keep it even when the perfume is finished 🙂
