Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation (Rs 645 for 30 ml) available at Nykaa
Rimmel Match Perfection SPF 18 Foundation is a light perfecting radiance foundation that offers traceless coverage and perfectly flawless skin under any light. It lasts all day long, that’s a huge bonus. The best part is the SPF 18. Now there’s no need for a seperate sunscreen.
Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation comes in 6 shades and available online and at Parcos.
I bought mine from Parcos. After talking to the SA about my skintype and that I am not looking for heavy coverage, I zeroed on this foundation. She matched me to True Nude, which I find bit light for me. I liked the pump packaging but the glass bottle makes it bit heavy when it comes to travelling.
Shade – Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation True Nude will match NC 40-42.
Texture & Formula – Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation feels lightweight. Its neither thick nor runny. Formula applies and blends well. I didn’t find the formula very moisturizing do during summers it would be good and wouldn’t look shiny, but for winters people with dry skin would need a good moisturizer underneath. At this time of year it doesn’t highlight dry patches at all. I have applied it using both brush & sponge and it works well in both the cases. Foundation comes with SPF 18 so you can expect some flashback/ whitecast while doing flash photography.
Coverage – Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation provides medium coverage. It hides minor flaws and blemishes but wouldn’t cover discoloration completely. Its a good formula for day time use though.
Staying Power – Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation has average staying power. On me without primer it stays on for 5-6 hours. It doesn’t turn patchy as the formula wears off.
Overall Thoughts
I find Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation an average product. Formula is nice and blends easily. It provides medium coverage so those who are looking for full/ heavy coverage wouldn’t be pleased. Foundation doesn’t highlights dry patches and feels comfortable on dry skin. I realized that Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation isn’t enough yellow to go well with people with strong yellow undertones and might look a bit ashy. It has average staying power of 5+ hours. You can buy Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation online.
