Ultra HD Lip Lacquers are new addition to Revlon Ultra HD range. I have reviewed Revlon Ultra HD lipstick Primrose on the blog that you can check out. These two products are priced quite high and I wondered what difference an Ultra HD lip lacquer would make.
Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer Garnet (Rs 850)
Lip lacquer goes HD with our innovative wax-free gel technology. Get true color clarity, vivid high-impact shine and a bouncy, lightweight feel. Available in 15 high-definition shades.
Packaging is similar to lip gloss with a brush tip applicator.
Shade – Revlon Garnet Ultra HD Lip Lacquer is a pretty berry pink liquid lipstick. This shade would compliment all skintones. There are 10 shades available in this range and this one stood out , maybe because I always like pinks more than any other color.
Texture & Formula – Formula of Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer is superbly moisturizing, light weight and smooth. I find it on a thicker side without being heavy on the lips. Texture is similar to liquid lipstick which isn’t gloopy or sticky. I really like how smooth and plump it makes my lips. Color doesn’t settle in lip wrinkles/ lines. Being someone with dry lips I thoroughly enjoy this formula since it keeps my lips moisturized throughout the wear.
Pigmentation – Garnet is quite opaque and one stoke is more than enough to cover lip discoloration or pigmentation. The color applies evenly without streaks in single swipe. 
Staying Power – This is where Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer Garnet disappoints. The staying power is comparable to a gloss, 1-2 hours. The moment you eat or drink the product starts transferring and fading. It disappears without staining.
Overall Thoughts
As much as I enjoy the formula & pigmentation of Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer, the staying power disappoints me. Formula is streak-free, moisturizing and light weight. I was expecting it to stay on for at least 3 hours, but it fades as soon as you drink or eat something.
