Shade – Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Rich Raspberry is a very dark maroon with very pink tones that makes it wearable than becoming Gothic. It is mentioned that it has a frost finish but I find it creamy and lustrous. This shade instantly brightens up my face whether used as a tint or full colour.

Packaging- The lipstick has a plastic black  packaging having a transparent see through top .The inside bullet has golden shade which looks quite cheap. However, the packaging is sturdy and closes with a click making it travel friendly.Texture & Formula – The texture of the lipstick is soft and smooth. It is non-gritty having a creamy finish. The lipstick goes on smoothly and I find the formula quite moisturising. It is light weight and comfortable but the formula is such that it can bleed a bit if over applied.

The lipstick doesn’t settle in the lip lines neither accentuate flaky lips.

Pigmentation – The lipstick is highly pigmented and one swipe provides full coverage and immense coverage. It is great for those having pigmented lips.

Staying Power – It is stays for about 5- 6 hours as it is highly pigmented and leaves a heavy pink stain behind.

Over Thoughts

Revlon Super lustrous lipsticks are a hit always. Available in 72 shades, everyone can have there kind of colour. I don’t wear darker shades of lipstick but I have 4-5 shades that can be worn with Indian wears and for special occasions. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Rich Raspberry is a maroon pink shade that is creamy and glides one easily. I prefer it like a tint as I find this shade very hard to pull off. However, you if are into wearing darker shades then I highly recommend trying this shade. The formula is moisturising and doesn’t settle in the lip lines. It is immensely pigmented and the staying power is great.Also, this shade will suit all skin tones.

The packaging could be slightly better for the price it comes at.

Presence of pink tones makes it wearable and not overly dark or gothic. I keep my rest of the makeup very subtle with mascara and light pink blush when I wear this.
