Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Review, Photos, Swatches (Black Berry, Cha Cha Cherry)

I went a little crazy after using couple of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks and decided to pick couple of more. I like the formula. packaging and colors this range offers. Today I am sharing two more shades. I have already reviewed 3 more shades Rich Raspberry,  Berry Couture, Kiss Me Coral & Grape Juice on the blog.

Shades – Revlon Cha Cha Cherry is a coral-red shade. Perfect for those who want to wear red but don’t want pure reds. This shade would look good on all skintones, however it looks quite bright on me. Revlon Black Berry on the other hand is not a berry but deep red-brown shade. I was expecting it to be slightly on berry side, but … Shade is perfect for fall/winters.Texture & Formula – Revlon Cha Cha Cherry has a smooth buttery texture with a glossy finish. It doesn’t have any shimmer or glitter. Formula glides on smoothly and keeps lip comfortable & moisturized. Revlon Black Berry also has a smooth creamy texture and finish. It doesn’t have any shimmer and very moisturizing. Due to its very creamy texture & dark shade, it tends to bleed, so lining lips before-hand would be a good choice. The best thing about Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick is that they have amazing creamy formula that doesn’t settle in lip lines.

Pigmentation – Cha Cha Cherry is sheer and provides medium coverage, Black Berry is very pigmented and goes opaque in single swipe.Staying Power – Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick’s staying power depends on how dark the shade is. Black Berry stays on for good 5 hours, Cha Cha Cherry fades in 3-3.5 hours.

Overall Thoughts

I really like Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks. This range has a great formula that is very much comparable to high end lipsticks. Both Cha Cha Cherry & Black Berry have nice buttery smooth formulas. I am really looking forward to collect some daily wear shades from this range.
