Revlon Photoready Kajal is a dual ended wooden Kajal Pencil that has one dark and one light end. Darker side serves as a Kajal and lighter side works as a brightener. The shade I am going to review is Revlon Photoready Kajal Emerald.

Shade – Revlon Photoready Kajal Emerald is a beautiful emerald green shade. on the other end it has a flesh toned shade that works wonderfully on waterline and inner corners as brightener.

Texture & formula – Revlon Photoready Kajal is not extremely creamy nonetheless it glides on smoothly without tugging, pulling or breaking. Tip remains intact without breaking. Emerald side has some shimmer but it appears matte once applied. I like the color and its very much wearable since its pretty dark. Flesh toned Brightener works nicely as eye brightener. Formula is soft and can be smudged softly for daytime smokey eyes. If applied as an eyeliner it stays on for good 4+ hours with some transferring on eyelid. However its neither smudgeproof nor waterproof.

Pigmentation – Revlon Photoready Kajal Emerald is very pigmented and has good color payoff.

Staying Power – SInce the formula is neither long staying nor smudge proof, it starts smudging after 3-4 hours.

Overall Thoughts

I liked Revlon Photoready Kajal Emerald shade. Its dark and looks good against my complexion. Formula is creamy and smooth. Both dark and brightening colors are nicely pigmented. I would have liked it more only if it had stayed on a little longer.
