Revlon Photoready Eye Art Burnished Bling Review Swatches Photos

Revlon has recently launched Photoready Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash duos. Each has one liquid eyeshadow on one end and shimmery liquid liner on the other. Their wand is also different on both the sides, eyeshadow one has a doe shaped applicator and liner one has a thick pointy brush. There are number of shades available and I picked Revlon Photoready Eye Art Burnished Bling.

Shade – Revlon Photoready Eye Art Burnished Bling is a duo of metallic bronze liquid eye shadow and bronze-gold shimmer liner. I loved the eye shadow and found it perfect for Indian complexion. This shade is perfect for weddings, parties, celebrations etc .

Texture & Formula – Liquid eye shadow is very pigmented, offering opaque finish in one swipe. However the problem arises when you try to blend the edges. The formula starts getting patchy and after trying on for couple of minutes you can achieve an even application, but believe me thats not why I buy cream/ liquid eyeshadows for. I love these formula for ease of application, which is not the case with Revlon Photoready Eye Art Burnished Bling. Once set it gets stretchy ! which is uncomfortable.

The shimmer is on the other had quite chunky. I liked it both the ways – as an eyeliner or over all shimmer coat for lids. It takes sometime to set & dry completely. The shimmer stays put on the lids whole day and doesn’t travel all over the face.

Pigmentation – Burnished Bronze is immensely pigmented when we talk about the liquid eyeshadow part of it. Shimmer liner is also decently pigmented, however you might have to go back to the tube to get more in case you are lining the eyes. However that’s not much of an issue for me.

Staying Power – On me it stays on for good 4-5 hours without creasing. However for a better staying power one can apply a good eyeshadow primer underneath.

Overall Thoughts

Revlon Photoready Eye Art Burnished Bling is a good choice for those who love liquid eye shadows and shimmery liners. I liked how it looks on the eyes. However the patchy finish and the time it takes to set completely are major turn offs.
