Another shampoo from my desk. Well, I am always in for trying different brands. In other words you can say that I am not a brand loyalist. I keep on using one or the other brand. It is because Indian cosmetic market is so wide these days. We have ample amount of products from different brands at our disposal. So, why not use them??? Anyways, while I was searching for the shampoo I came through this one. I didn’t know that Revlon also comes up with shampoos. So, I decided to give Revlon Flex Body Building Protein Shampoo a try and here follows the review.

Product claims : This exclusive Flex formula is balanced for through yet gentle cleansing. So it gives dry/damaged hair more bounce, great body, beautiful shine. With Flex you get highly effective cleansing without stripping. Rinses away clean. Leaves hair feeling more supple, more manageable and looking radiantly healthy. Hair smells extra Flex fresh to gentle enough to use everyday.

Packaging: Revlon Flex Body Building Protein Shampoo comes in a big heavy bottle which is semi-transparent. The bottle is quite descriptive and has the entire product name and other details mentioned on it. The bottle has a flip flop opening. There is a tiny hole which allows the shampoo to come out in a limited quantity thus ensuring economy of the shampoo.

Texture: texture wise the shampoo is medium thick. It is golden in colours and looks very attractive on hands. The shampoo needs to be diluted with water to get the desired consistency.

My Experience:

The first thing which you will notice about Revlon Flex Body Building Protein Shampoo is that it’s really huge. You get too much of quantity in this single bottle. So, if you have medium length hair like mine then a single bottle will last you for months. Anyway, coming to the shampoo part. The shampoo gets easily dissolved in water. So, you don’t need to worry about that. It lathers also pretty well on the hairs. And that emphasizes on the cleansing part of this shampoo. The Revlon shampoo cleanses hair quite effectively taking away all the oil from the hair.

Also, I allow the shampoo for some time after which you can rinse it off with water. You won’t feel much trouble to remove the shampoo from your hairs. The shampoo did not cause any abnormal hair fall. Nor did it made my hair dry. Since I have a dry hair so I followed up with conditioner but oily hair girls can easily skip this. But coming to the volume part the shampoo performed miserably. It did not add any volume to my hairs.

Overall thoughts

Revlon Flex Body Building Protein Shampoo is a good everyday shampoo. Don’t go by the extra body claim as it is zero in terms of Voluminizing. But it does not dry my hair and I am happy about it.
