Revlon Certainly Red Super Lustrous Lipstick (Rs 550) available at Jabong
How many reds are too many reds? Answer is – you can never have enough red lipsticks. Ever since I started wearing reds my whole perception towards this much loved shade has changed. I never knew how much confidence a bold color can give you. I love sporting red lipsticks anytime during the day, it totally depends on my mood. Revlon Certainly Red Super Lustrous Lipstick is my new found love.
Shade – Revlon Certainly Red is a deep red with blue undertones. Color is absolutely gorgeous and looks good on my medium-deep complexion. 
Texture & Formula – Revlon super lustrous range is famous for its super creamy and smooth texture. I have all the shades from the cream finish range and they are quite moisturizing however Revlon Certainly Red starts feeling a bit dry after 1-2 hours. Formula provides smooth even finish and doesn’t settle in fine lines.
Pigmentation – Like most of the cream finish lipsticks in this range, Certainly Red is equally pigmented. One swipe is all you would need. It covers discoloration or darkness and gives an even smooth finish.
Staying Power – Certainly Red has a decent staying power. On me it stays on for good 4-5 hours with some fading after 2-3 hours, that too depends on how frequently you eat or drink. Color does transfer.
Overall Thoughts
Revlon Certainly Red is one of those shades that compliment any skin tone. Its deep and classy. Formula is quite nice and doesn’t settle in lip lines & cracks. Texture is smooth and buttery and glides on the lips without tugging or pulling. With decent staying power and amazing pigmentation it surely has won me over. Revlon Super Lustrous range surely has some really interesting shades and affordable too. I can’t wait to get more shades specially Cherries In The Snow.
