Thinking about a dish and drooling forever … something that happens often with me. Ever since I had Chicken Farcha at SodaBottleOpenerwala Cyber Hub Gurgaon, I used to think of revisiting the place just to have it. However we decided to visit the SodaBottleOpenerwala Khan Market one since it is very close to my house. 
Cafe is quite smaller than the one they have in Cyber hub. A quite narrow staircase leads you to the Café which is on the first floor, also there is place to sit on the rooftop. The café on first floor doesn’t have a lot of space, something I missed, though quirky décor and lighting remained the same. Light Bulbs in mason jar holders and an old telephone at the counter reminded me of an old irani café, somewhere in Mumbai.
Staff is quite welcoming and immediately led us to sitting area and handed us the menu. Café has sofas in the corners to accommodate large group and chairs & tables at the center of the cafe for smaller group of people. We sat at a sofa; the table had a glass table top placed beautifully on a bed of tea glasses, quite a fun idea.
We ordered –
Chicken Farcha – I found it much oiler than what we had before. It wasn’t crispy , though the chicken inside was quite moist.
Egg Kejriwal – Fried egg on bread toast, toast was quite stiff to cut into. Husband struggled a bit, though liked the flavors.. well that’s what matters the most..
Chicken Baida Roti – We were quite intrigued after reading the description and ordered one. It tasted absolutely delicious with Green Chutney. It has nice and moist minced & chunky chicken filling.
Bhendi Bazaar Sheekh Paratha – Mutton Seekh Kabab served with paratha. I love that mutton seekh, moist juicy & tasty, with very less oil. However can’t say the same about that paratha, it was quite greasy.
Lagan Nu Custard – Caramel Custard, light airy & delicious.
Overall I liked the food, however I will prefer Cyber Hub one over this because of the space issues. Nice and hospitable staff. Food is delicious except that greasy Chicken Farcha. I am surely visiting SodabottleOpenerwala in future.
