I am not much into experimenting with hair colors or styles. I have the same haircut for past 3 years and 2 year ago I got highlights done. I was planning to get them again but couldn’t decide where to go. Review & Experience - Geetanjali Salon, Select CityWalk Delhi (2)

Geentajali Salon was always on my list however despite of living 2 KM far from the salon I just couldn’t go there for some or the other reason. But I couldn’t let the the opportunity of meeting Sumit Israni and getting highlights done under his supervision, slip out of my hands.

Geetanjali Salon (by Hair Expert & Celebrity Hair Stylist Sumit Israni) has expanded their chain and opened up a new Concept Studio at Select Citywalk Mall, Saket, New Delhi. The interior is superb and classy.

Sumit asked me about my color preferences to understand what kind of highlight color would suit me best. I was also not very keen of going too dramatic with the color so asked him to offer me something that is subtle and sober. He decided to use two variants of brown and believe me took less than 15 minutes to section & color hair.Review & Experience - Geetanjali Salon, Select CityWalk Delhi. Hair highlights (2)I was asked to wait for half an hour and then the color was rinsed off. Later on a stylist blow dried my hair and used rollers to add volume. Subtle and elegant. Sumit shared tips on maintaining colored hair and how can one make the color stay on for a longer time. He recommended L’Oreal Salon Range & Kerastase. I want to change my hairstyle and will be going back for a haircut in a month or so and will post about it.
