Real Techniques Setting Brush ($8/496 INR)Real Techniques SETTING brush review (1)

If someone asked me, what would be that one brush that I would like to live with the rest of my life, I would without any second thoughts say, the SETTING brush, from real techniques. I swear that I haven’t ever come across such a hard core multi tasking brush like this one, I can blend my concealer with this, set my under with this, blend the eye shadow in my crease with this(YEAH, I really did that, even tough it’s big, and the results turned out flawless), I can highlight my cheeks and nose with this, I can contour with this, pretty much whatever I do in makeup, can be done with this brush. Real Techniques SETTING brush review (2)

Built up: For the built up of Real techniques SETTING brush, it feels pretty sturdy and light in the hands, the handle of the brush is aluminium and rubber, that provides the perfect grip, as the handle or the inside of the brush is hollow, so it feels really light in the hands, also the handle is so slim built, that it is really ideal to travel with.

What more, it is my favourite as it’s pink in colour, yes real techniques brushes are colour coded , into bronze, purple and pink, the setting brush is from the pink family , has a pink aluminium handle, and the base has black rubber grip,  but unlike others in the family, this brush doesn’t have a stand on bottom, but that hardly is an issue for me.. Samantha Chapman has done an awesome job with the packaging and look of the brushes I must mention

Also I like that that on each of its brush RT has written the name of the brush or the product for which it can be used like the blush brush or the setting brush that would make things easier for makeup beginners but at the same time naming the brush doesn’t limit you to use it only for that particular area, you can use it as you please.

Bristles: The bristles they r so soft and there is no streaky finish. It has a unique shape as I haven’t seen in any other brush. Plus the bristles are not ordinary synthetic bristles, these are the taclon bristles that makes the application extra soft and easy. Plus  Real techniques SETTING brush is great for blending and gives an airbrushed pixel perfect finish even in harsh lights. it has a flatter, elongated shape to it. With all the brushes, they are pretty dense but so soft and they are synthetic, meaning they wash well and dry fast.

Overall Thoughts

I love the Ultra fine bristles that are Very soft in texture and blends product to give airbrushed finish. Taclon bristles pick up the product really well,as the bristles are synthetic so good for people like me with super sensitive skin who get irritated by natural hair,  Real techniques SETTING brush has a beautiful packaging and sturdy material, also I don’t see any fallouts of bristles even after multiple washes, plus the price is so very attractive. The only con that I could find was, its availability in India, but since the real techniques website, now ships worldwide, at really cheap rates, these brushes can be affordable accessed, I got mine for $3 as the shipping and it arrived in around 20 days including weekends, and as I told you in the beginning, this brush is such a multi tasker, I could live with only this and no other brush if needed
