If you ask what’s my favourite makeup brush brand, I will say Real techniques without thinking twice. Their brushes are of great quality and available at affordable prices. I love buying them from Real Techniques website directly, so far I have placed 3 orders and all of them have reached me within 13 days. I have tried to keep the order value low to avoid customs duties and thankfully haven’t paid any duties yet.

I was eyeing couple of new launches from the brand, especially the sculpting brush, after watching Nic’s video tutorial. I loved how this one brush can multi-task. 

The sculpting brush is a fat dense brush with an oval head/ bristle shape. Which is perfect for contouring/ sculpting. However I have used it for foundation and concealer application as well, you can watch this brush in action HERE.

The best thing about these brushes is that their bristles are synthetic, which means if you wash them brushes will dry out faster than the ones with animal hair. Also even after using it numerous times for applying foundation, concealer, blush & bronzer, the bristles wash clear, every time. After drying the brush retains its shape. I haven’t observed any shedding or bleeding (of color) at all. 

Overall Thoughts

As always I highly recommend Real Techniques Sculpting Brush to those who are looking for a multitasking brush. Quality is amazing and bristles don’t shed at all.
