Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator BRE630/00 Review Photos Price

I started using epilators around 3 years ago. It gave me freedom from parlour visits and saved some bucks as well. I have used Philips Satinelle Essential Epilator as well but it was not meant to be used in shower. So philips newest launch Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator BRE630/00 can be used both wet & dry. I was quite excited to know about it as most of the tools (haircare/ grooming) I use are from Philips only.

The first thing that got my attention was the sleek feminine design ! It is beautiful white & lavender color epilator. The handle is S shaped hence offers better grip and control. The head is detachable as the epilator comes with 5 accessories for leg, body & face.

The Satinelle Advanced Epilator BRE630/00 offers a wide head with rough ceramic tweezers with unique ridges lifts up lying hair & holds them firmly at 90° angle, thus effectively removing hair from the roots.

The handle has an on/off button with 2 speed settings. There is a light inside the epilator head which ensures smooth, hair free epilation.

Epilator head is made of ceramic and quite comfortable if used with the massager cap. I don’t find epilation painful anymore since I have been doing it for years now. Infact I like it more than waxing, as I hardly get time to go out and get it done.

There is a shaver attachment as well as safety caps for face & body. I like to use the small one for face, to remove upper lip or facial hair. I have used epilator for facial hair and prefer it over waxing. You have to make sure that the skin is stretched while epilating to avoid it getting trapped.

I can use it for good 2-3 times after charging the epilator fully. It takes care of even tiniest of hair and getting a close and clean epilation in no time. Shaving attachment is really good for underarm hair removal !

Only con is the fixed head, I would have preferred a pivotal one because on knees etc it doesn’t glide as smoothly as you would want. Also it makes quite a lot of noise.

Overall Thoughts

I prefer using Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator BRE630/00 over other epilators because of two reasons – shape of handle and wet/dry use. Also once fully charged, I can use it for good 2-3 times. The cost is also decent as compared to other similar wet/dry epilators available in Indian market.
