That was the time when one of my colleagues advised me to get a hair dryer. Now, I have a very thin and extremely fine texture. And we all know that heat is not good for your hairs. So, how can I torture my hairs with all the heat and everything? But then I gradually realised within some days that dryer is a “must buy” if you want to stay in Delhi. So,I bought the Philips Salon Dry Compact HP8100 and here follows the review.

Packaging: the Philips Salon Dry Compact HP8100 comes in a big carton box with product details and everything on it. I was always confused about how to use this complex hair tools. So, I of course needed a detailed instruction booklet. And this one had. I loved how simply did it explain about how to use the device to get the desired blow dry.

As I told you already this is my very first hair tool. So, i was very sceptical on the first buy. I was so confused before buying this. There are so many brands available in market in terms of hair tools. So, which one should you go for??? I decided to go with the age old and extremely trustworthy Philips. Yes, guys i bought the Philips Salon Dry Compact HP8100. Before buying I browsed the internet and saw good reviews on this.

Now, let me tell you some technical aspects of this dryer. It comes with dual flexible settings which are like a dream when you want to go for careful drying. It offers focused air flow options which is just perfect for a quick dry. It comes with a storage hook too and consumes 1000W power. Also, the dryer gets automatically switched off when it is overheated. So no worry of burning your hairs.

What I do is that I turn my hairs upside down and then use the dryer only on roots area. I just move the dryer 2-3 times through the root area and leave the length for air dry.

Overall Thoughts

I love Philips Salon Dry Compact HP8100 . My very first hair tool and i am in love with this. It’s a must buy from my side. An expensive and high in utility hair tool.
