Being someone with extremely dry skin my winters start with insane amount of body lotions/ body butters stacked up on the vanity. I have heard a lot about Palmer’s Body lotions and wanted to give them a shot. I love the flavour of coconut as well as coconut scented products, so choice was easy. I picked Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion around a month back and have been using it ever since.
Decadently rich Palmer’s Coconut Oil Body Lotion is formulated with ethically and sustainably sourced organic coconut oil and Tahitian Monoi. It drenches skin in luxurious moisture, provides unsurpassed radiance and softness to skin. The formula is free from parabens, phthalates & dyes. It has Coconut, Monoi & Sweet Almond Oils as key ingredients.
Packaging is simple but I prefer pump dispenser when the bottle is bigger (more than 150 ml). Tilting and squeezing big bottles results into excess about of product and spillage. So to prevent it I have shifted the lotion to a pump bottle and that has made my life easy.
Texture of the lotions isn’t extremely thick and spreads easily on the skin. It also gets absorbed and keeps skin soft. However I have extremely dry legs & feet so the formula isn’t enough moisturising. I have to reapply Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion before going to bed.
I like how it smells and doesn’t feel sticky or greasy. The coconut scent lingers on for some time and doesn’t last throughout the day. The product would be good for people with normal to oily skin since it isn’t oily & makes skin supple. For me Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Firming Butter takes the cake.
Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion is priced at Rs 425 for 250 ml, available online HERE
As much as I love the scent of coconut, the formula of Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion isn’t enough moisturising for my very dry skin. It works if i have applied a bath oil after bathing. Otherwise I end up reapplying it during the day because my feet get really dry and look ashy.
