Lip balms and I have a very special relationship, well almost ‘can’t live without each other’ type. I always carry one in my hand bag, one in my jacket’s pocket and then one is always on the vanity. I love both tinted and non-tinted, preferably non-slippery formula. I have been testing out these cute little spherical Lip Balms from Organic Harvest for the past couple of weeks and thought of sharing my thoughts with you. Organic Harvest Lip Balms come in a spherical shaped packaging which is quite similar to EOS Lip Balm.
Organic Harvest Lip Balms are available in 4 flavours – Pomegranate, Green Apple, Shea & Strawberry. Looking at the current stage of my lips I mostly used Shea, which is the one in yellow.
Packaging is quite convenient and really cute, very different from the regular lip balms in India. All of them are scented according to their flavours however you wouldn’t be able to taste anything, which is always good.
Texture of these lip balms in non-slippery, but it isn’t waxy either. I detest the white wax like layer that some lip balms leave behind. The formula is moisturizing and keeps lips soft supple. I always reapply lip balms after meals or at least thrice a day, based on their condition.
Each Flavour has its own benefit e.g. Pomegranate lip care helps in retaining water, Green Apple lip therapy with mint nourishes dry and chapped lips, Shea Lip repair with Shea butter locks dampness and prevent your lips from drying out and Strawberry lip balm is enriched with moisturizers and scented strawberry that will protect your lips from dehydration. Also not to forget that these lip balms are made of organic ingredients with no nasty chemicals.
From price point Organic Harvest Lip Balms are reasonably priced and available online as well as in Organic Harvest stores. Also one can’t neglect the water intake and depend solely on the lip balm to do miracles even if its winters at the moment.
Organic Harvest Lip Balms (Rs 149 each) available Online
Overall Thoughts
If you are a lip balm junkie like me Organic Harvest Lip Balms should be a part of the stash. The formula is quite moisturising without being waxy or slippery. Works perfectly well under lipsticks and repairs chapped lips.
