In the quest of finding great chemical free products you sometimes come across amazing and sometimes not-so-amazing products. I am going to talk about my second product from Omved which is a moisturizing face cleanser.

I bought Omved Moisturising Face Cleanser only for morning use. I have acne issues and cleansing my skin twice is something i just can not miss. People will debate whether its important or not to cleanse your face in the morning but I have been doing it for almost 1 year now and have seen the difference in my skin. So coming back to the point I am using this cleanser for almost 3 weeks now and thought its time to review it for you all.

What The Brand Says 

A soft-foaming, pH-balanced cleanser that effectively removes deep embedded dirt, grime and other impurities to leave skin soft, smooth and fresh. The Omved Face Wash deep cleanses without drying or stripping the natural oils of the skin.

Since the product is 100% natural herbal cleanser it has strong herbal scent, which I don’t mind. It refreshes me , awakes me and makes me feel clean. The pump bottle is a huge relief because who has the time to struggle with a squeeze tube in the morning?

Now to the formula – It surely is a moisturizing cleanser. My skin never feels dry or parched after using it. I use it in the morning because I follow a strong night time skincare routine which includes CTM and use it just to get rid of any dirt/oil that might have got accumulated overnight.

Omved Moisturising Face Cleanser foams up nicely and washes away without leaving any slippery residue behind. I also spotted Salicylic Acid in the ingredients list which makes it good for acne prone skin, however I don’t see it doing anything for my breakouts.

Overall Thoughts

If you have sensitive or dry skin Omved Moisturising Face Cleanser is a great cleanser to have. It cleans skin without making it dry or stretchy. The strong herbal scent might trouble sensitive noses. This product didn’t work for my breakouts/ acne issues so I am not even sure if it will work on blemish prone skin or not. I like the product because its chemical free and this is what I am aiming for – a chemical free skincare regime.
