Eyeshadow palettes are my favourite product to buy. I have a quite a few neutrals since I get the most use out of them however time to time I add some colourful ones too. After seeing Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette I really wanted to get one with red warm toned hues. I saw NYX Rustic Antique Perfect Filter Eyeshadow Palette online and found it pretty much with same hues and picked it instantly.

Packaging of this palette is pretty simple. A plastic case with clear lid. It feels quite flimsy for the price you pay here. There are square eyeshadow pans. You get 10 rust & orange eyeshadows.
Shade – There are 5 variants available in NYX Perfect Filter Eyeshadow Palette range. I really liked the hues in Rustic Antique palette. The shades are pretty and would suit all skin tones. For me a dark shade is a must in any palette so that you can create day to night looks easily. However in this one I can see all rust, orange & reds. You can use it along with a nice neutral palette.
Texture & Formula – Now the palette has a mix of matte & metallic shades. Formula of most of the shades is quite smooth & easy to blend. Texture of matte eyeshadows is good however I wouldn’t call them buttery. Metallic shades are quite creamy though.
I have used NYX Rustic Antique Eyeshadow Palette without primer and the colors showed up pretty well. Infact blending the shades together was easy and they look beautiful.
Pigmentation – I find the shades decently pigmented, however a bit of layering will be required if you have dark eyelids and haven’t applied any opaque base.

If you are looking for an eyeshadow palette with rustic & orange shades then do try NYX Rustic Antique Perfect Filter Eyeshadow Palette. There is a mix of matte and metallic eyeshadows. The texture of these eyeshadows is decent and shades blend easily.
