Shade – Nyx Copenhagen is a newly launched shade and I picked it up as I do not have many dark shades in my kit. It is a beautiful dark reddish burgundy, wine sort of a color that looks flattering on medium-dusky skin.
Packaging – NYX soft matte lip creams come in a standard tube packaging with an applicator. It makes it really travel friendly and one need not bother about the lipstick melting during travel. I have had NYX Soft matte lip creams for 3 years and did not find them drying in the tube.
Pigmentation – Copenhagen is a highly pigmented shade and one swipe is all you need. The brush is very good and helps in neat application.
Texture & Formula – Nyx Copenhagen has a smooth, buttery texture. I have normal but small lips and personally am more into lip glosses than matte lipsticks, But NYX soft matte lip creams texture impressed me so much that I have quite a few of these in my kit now. I line my lips first and then top it off with this lip cream.
Staying Power – It feels very comfortable on my lips and stays put for 4-5 hours easily. I did not experience the color flaking off from my lips. It does fade after food and drinks but not much. I also use it as a light stain sometimes when I do not want it to be so dark. It still stays put for 4 hours.
Copenhagen is a lovely color for the fall. If you like dark shades, this must be in your kit as it is such a stunner and one of a kind.

Overall Thoughts
NYX Soft Matte Lip cream Copenhagen is such a beautiful deep reddish burgundy shade of lip color that goes matte and stays long without drying the lips much. I am definitely picking up a brown from this range soon.
