NYX Butter Gloss Peach Cobbler ($5 for 6.5 gm) available at CherryCulture.comNYX Butter Gloss Peach Cobbler Review (1)Packaging : The packaging is simply done – a vivid coral-orange tube with a long round handle sports a doe-foot applicator for better spreading the color. Personally I love this one because it is so much easier for me to apply it. I am not much of a brush applicator fan and this one makes me happy because it lets the gloss spread evenly and allows me to control the amount I want to apply. The tube’s color is vivid enough for me to find it among other stuff on my cluttered vanity.

Texture and Color:  NYX Butter Gloss Peach Cobbler  is a beautiful shade of coral which applies sheer and can be built up to a medium coverage. It is by no means a gloss that gives you full coverage, but I prefer that somehow. However I prefer the sheer coverage as it is more natural to look at. There are no weird shimmers or glitters, which make this a great product for day wear on my lips, and I also apply it over my lipstick to add a touch of oomph to them. The smell of this gloss is really divine, and the texture is non-sticky and quite hydrating.

Staying Power : NYX Butter Gloss Peach Cobbler lasts for 3 hours easily on my lips, and more if I don’t eat or drink. Unlike most other glosses, it actually keeps my lips hydrated and the color sticks to my lips for 3 hours. That makes this a great purchase, and the amount of 6.5 gm. is a lot. It does transfer slightly, but then again, most glosses do.

Overall Thoughts

I love these glosses. The good news is: they are inexpensive, and yes, they are similar to butter in texture, and just melts in your mouth and stays for a good period of time. The only problem is – availability. But if you find one, do try it out.
