Packaging – The mask comes in a matte finish white plastic pouch packaging. The pack has beautiful rice water and white tea image in the front. The packaging is very hygienic, leak-proof and travel-friendly. The sheet inside is made up of biodegradable material.

Colour & Texture – The mask sheet is of pure white colour and its texture is very thin cottony. It is soaked in colourless serum but not looks dripping wet. The serum has thin consistency which is slightly thicker than water and non-greasy. The mask fits perfectly on my heart shaped face so it would fit on most Idian face shapes.

Fragrance – It has very light herbal fragrance. The smell does not linger long like so it won’t bother you even if you do not like the fragrance.

Ease of Application – This ready to use mask requires 3-4 steps of application. The pack needs to be cut and the mask to be taken out. Then apply it on the face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Finally remove the mask and massage the serum gently on the skin.  

Effectiveness  – This sheet mask provides instant hydration to the skin. It reduces dryness in a jiffy and gives a subtle glow. It provides certain amount of toning effect if used chilled. Otherwise the result is very similar to other masks. 

My Experience

I have not reached to the mature and dehydrated skin phase where sagging problem starts. I have combination skin with pore issues. This mask is a basic nourishing mask as I feel.

I used it on my face at night and I kept it in fridger beforehand. This way the pores looked a bit shrunken and the skin looked plum. Other than this nothing is special with this mask. It did not cause any breakouts.

3. No exceptional skin toning or firming action

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Nykaa Rice Water White Tea Sheet Mask is a lightweight mask sheet that just moisturizes the skin; no firmness of skin as such. I like other variants from this range better so I might not purchase it again. I would suggest it to all skin types.
