My Experience with Nykaa Lips Dont Lie! Lip Liner Dirty Secret
Packaging – This lip liner is a round sharpable wood pencil. A black plastic lid is provided to secure the sharped edge. The liner looks quite simple and tiny. It’s body is colour-coded in accordance with the shade. Overall, the packaging is travel-friendly.
Shade, Texture & Pigmentation – The shade dirty secret is a peach based neutral lip liner. Though peach shades generally come with warm undertone, this one has a neutral undertone. In India warm undertone skin is common and that’s why this one might not look flattering on medium to dusky skin tones.
The pigmentation is quite good. It is able to provide complete coverage on my lips in one swipe. It has non-drying comfortable matte finish. This lipliner pencil gives a smooth and even application. Any regular kajal sharpener is good to sharpen this.
Fragrance – Nykaa Lips Dont Lie! Lip Liner Dirty Secret is a fragrance free product; just a hint of medicinal fragrance is there in the pencil but that does not transfer to the lips.
My Experience
Most neutral lipsticks in my collection has peach base as I don’t like brown based deeper nude lip colours. That was the reason I opted for this particular shade of lip liner. The nearest shade match to this lip liner in my collection is NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream in Kyoto. I often wear this lip liner as the lip colour for the daytime no makeup looks.
This is a perfect formal wear lip shade for me. Nykaa Lips Dont Lie! Lip Liner Dirty Secret gives a semi matte finish and stays on for 4+ hours. I have also tried to pair it up with various eye looks. It goes well with simple eyeliner looks as well as smokey eyes.

Though the shade does not look unnaturally ashy on my lips, I like my lip colours to be 1-2 to shades darker than my original lip tone. so, I won’t be probably making a repurchase. I will suggest Nykaa Lips Dont Lie! Lip Liner Dirty Secret to people with lighter lip tones than mine.
