I am always ready to try and test new launches specially one that claims all sort of fancy things. My skin is dry but break out prone and stay away from heavy formula like cream foundations since they tend to sit on the top of my skin and clog pores. But beauty blogging pushes me to go out of my comfort zone and I end up trying products that aren’t love at first sight. One such product is Nykaa Get Set Click 3-in-1 Compact.
This one-of-kind formula glides on as a cream and magically morphs into a powder, giving you a flawless complexion. Enriched with Biological Anti-oxidant pocket, it recharges your skin power-boosting anti-oxidants, leaving your skin refreshed and energized. With SPF 30, it acts like a shield and protects your perfected complexion. This breakthrough formula yields a soft matte finish that makes sure you are always camera ready!
Packaging is simple and quite convenient. Nykaa Get Set Click Compact comes in a black matte case with cream foundation in one side and sponge on other. It also has a full size which is amazing for travel and on the go touch ups.
Shade – Nykaa Get Set Click Compact is available in 7 shades – 3 cool toned, 3 warm toned and 1 dark shade. Now on one hand I appreciate their idea of catering to all undertones however somewhere along the line they missed out medium-deep complexions. I picked 06 which looked quite dark online however when swatched it was 2 shades lighter than my complexion. Good thing is that it has yellow undertones. I couldn’t understand the logic behind launching one dark shade since it is way too dark.
Texture & Formula – Now the brand claims it to be a creme to powder formula which isn’t my favourite kind. Such products tend to look cakey on me and settle into fine lines and crease.
Texture of Nykaa Get Set Click Compact isn’t too creamy and sets demo-matte after few minutes. Initially I thought of using it for under eye area only however it did crease there. My skin is dry and such formula cling on to dry patches or suck the moisture out of the skin.
Formula is better for combination oily skin but from what I heard is Nykaa Get Set Click Compact isn’t that good at holding oil for a long time.
Coverage – Nykaa Get Set Click Compact gives sheer to medium coverage.
Staying Power – 5-6 hours with creasing.

Nykaa should’ve kept the dusky skin in mind while launching these compacts. There should be a balance between shades which is not there in this product.
