Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser Berry Blossom Review

Today’s review is about Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser Berry Blossom. Nivea products generally work for my skin; that’s why I decided to go for this glycerine based light moisturiser. Let’s find out more about this moisturiser.Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser Berry Blossom Review

We are going through an era of science-backed skin care. 10 step or 20 step skin care routines have become a cake-walk for many. I do have the similar happy skin goals but my motto is to keep everything as minimal as possible.

I don’t like to drag my daily skin care more than 5 minutes. Nothing can substitute a good moisturizer so I am always trying out different moisturizers that fit my budget.

About Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser Berry Blossom

Nivea Soft Light Moisturizer Berry Blossom is a non-greasy moisturizing cream that refreshes your skin making it smooth, soft and healthy. The light texture and fast-absorbing formula makes it spread easily on your skin with just one application.

It is highly effective on face, hands and body. This all purpose cream is specially made to care for all skin types in all seasons. Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser Berry Blossom Review

Packaging: This cream comes in a plastic tub with screw lid. The body of the tub is light pink and the lid is white. The shape and size of the tub is similar to the original variant of Nivea Soft. The packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.

The pack mentions ingredients list in detail which I find useful. Tub packaging is not my personal favourite though it prevents product wastage. I don’t like the concept of dipping my finger in the tub to take out the product.

Colour & Consistency: This is a medium consistency moisturizing cream. The colour is white. The texture is smooth. It feels light and non-greasy on my skin. If I take too much product, the cream gets heavy on my skin on a humid summer day.

Its moisturizing power is lesser than cold creams; you won’t get that oily film of cold cream with this. The moisturizer get absorbed into the skin.Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser Berry Blossom Review

Fragrance: The Berry Blossom cream has sweet smell to it. With a mild floral scent there is a hint of berry fragrance. It’s not a sweet bubblegum kind of fragrance; the smell is unique. The fragrance is neither strong nor long-lasting. The smell does not stay at all after application.

Quantity & Price: This cream is priced at Rs.160 for 100ml. This is a budget-friendly moisturizer in the paraben-free skin nourisher category. It has two more sizes available; 50ml and 200ml. Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser Berry Blossom Review

My Overall Thoughts:

My acne-prone skin needs strong anti-microbial face cleansers. I sometimes use salicylic acid based exfoliant cleansers as well. These leave my skin stretchy dry even in humid summer weather.

Moisturisers are like saviours for my skin. I don’t like greasy moisturisers as they clog the facial pores. This Bery Blossom moisturisr by Nivea is not a oil-free moisturiser like Neutrogena. Still the formula does not irritate my skin.

It nourishes the skin, gets rid of the stretchy dry feel instantly. It is light enough to use on my combination skin but it might feel heavy on oily skin. I only use this when I do not have any active acne.

This is something I can use in each and every season. I sometimes use this before makeup. Its high glycerine content helps in blending base makeup specially the foundation.

Overall it’s a decent moisturizer for combination to dry skin if you are looking for a budget-friendly option.
