Nivea Express Hydration, Happy time Body Lotions Review, Comparison

Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion (Rs 179 for 250ml) & Nivea Happy time Body Lotion (Rs 265 for 400ml) available at FlipkartNivea Express Hydration, Happy time Body Lotions Review, Comparison

I think a lot of us grew up with that little tin of Nivea cold cream.  I remember getting my own tine just before a school trip – made me feel very grown up indeed. J

Nivea now has a huge range of products and I love their core range of moisturizing and hydrating lotions. They really give you a lot of choice, but sometimes its difficult to narrow down to what you really need. So to make your life easy I have two of them reviewed and compared today 🙂

Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion The ultra light formula of NIVEA Express Hydration Body Lotion, with Sea Minerals works deep with the skin, repairing dryness layer by layer to make the skin immediately soft, supple & delicately enwrapped in a blue lotus scent. NIVEA’s unique formula naturally promotes a continuous moisture supply from within for long-lasting soft skin.

Nivea Happy time Body Lotion – Enjoy nourishing care and inspire your senses with the feel good sensation created for normal skin. Enriched with Bamboo Extract & Milk Proteins, NIVEA Happy Time Body Lotion works deep within the skin to repair dryness layer by layer and strengthens the skin’s own protection function. Its mild scent with Orange Flower leaves you feeling freshly cared for all day long. NIVEA’s unique formula naturally promotes a continuous moisture supply from within for long-lasting soft skin

My Experience

Both the asymmetrical bottles are pretty similar in what they do.  I use these at night and I really like their flip top lids.  I find they are great and both provide instant hydration.  I personally don’t like using a body lotion in the day because I feel sticky in the Mumbai Heat.  But as I spend most of my time indoors in the Air conditioning, my skin does need that extra pampering.  I therefore apply these during the night.

Nivea express hydration has the normal Nivea cream fragrance which I find soothing.  However the one with Bamboo Milk smells divine.  Funny thing, the bottle says its made of Bamboo milk but there is an image of a slice of orange on the bottle.  I think that has to do with the fragrance.  The lotion has a yummy citrus fragrance.

If I had to pick, I’d take the Nivea Happy time Body Lotion.
