I am someone who doesn’t like overly gentle scrubs. I need to feel some granules on my skin exfoliating and removing dead flaky skin away. Nivea Aqua Effect Skin Refining Scrub has micro scrub particles which exfoliate skin without being abrasive. The product has a gel consistency, has some blue beads and transparent granules. These blue beads dissolve after sometime.
It smells and feels fresh. I use this scrub after thoroughly cleaning my face twice a week. This product is meant for normal skin so even if i have dry skin i don’t feel any issues. I don’t expect a scrub to moisturize or remove excess oil from face.
Only negative would be the price tag of Rs 149 for 75ml ! I am not saying its expensive but not cheap either. But since you wouldn’t need more product (as its packed with scrub particles) this one tube will last long.
Overall thoughts
A decently priced nice scrub which removes dead skin without being abrasive or overly gentle. It has right amount of scrub particles in my opinion. It smells fresh and the transparent gel feels cool on skin. It doesn’t leave a film or slippery feel post-washing. Tube packaging with a fliptop cap makes it extremely travel friendly. I would definitely recommend this product to dry -normal skin girls.
